What is Prostate HistoScanning?
Prostate HistoScanning? is a diagnostic imaging tool using data from a standard ultrasound scan. It helps your doctor distinguish between different tissues in your prostate and it may help your doctor make a clinical decision. HistoScanning extracts information from ultrasound data beyond what is possible with existing methods. This is achieved by applying advanced mathematical software to the data. HistoScanning analysis results enable your doctor to quantify and locate suspicious areas in your prostate. Such areas are then visualized and marked in red on the dedicated HistoScanning image viewer.
