| Advanced Medical Diagnostics appoints Imaging Equipment Ltd as commercial agent for Prostate HistoScanning™ in the UK and Ireland. |

Waterloo, Belgium (July 1, 2008): Advanced Medical Diagnostics, SA, a company committed to
providing innovative computer-aided solutions that improve the diagnostic interpretation of
ultrasound scans, announced today that it has appointed Imaging Equipment Ltd as its commercial
agent for the Prostate HistoScanning™ tissue characterization technology in the UK and Ireland.
HistoScanning™ is a proprietary tissue differentiation, visualization and quantification technology
designed to assist specialists in identifying changes to solid organ tissues. The prostate application
works in conjunction with Transrectal Ultrasound (TRUS) procedures and extracts additional information
from the “native” prostate ultrasound data. It potentially adds an important new dimension to the
practice of prostate examination as well as prostate biopsy indication and acquisition.

Based on the collaboration agreement between AMD and B-K Medical ApS of Herlev Denmark announced earlier this year,
Imaging Equipment will jointly promote Prostate HistoScanning™ with B-K Medical UK of Berkshire.
The British Journal of Urology recently published a study conducted on men whose prostate biopsies tested
positive and whose prostates were later surgically removed. This study showed that in the study population,
HistoScanning™ correctly identified the largest tumors, accurately measured their diameters and correctly
attributed the presence of multiple foci, the laterality of the disease, and the involvement of the prostate
capsule. A second publication based on analysis of the smaller lesions in this population is in press.
