HistoScanning™ Technology
HistoScanning™ is a tissue differentiation, visualization and quantification tool which identifies changes to solid organ tissues. The patented technology works in conjunction with specific 3D ultrasound machines and extracts additional information from ultrasound Radio Frequency (RF) data. The system’s geometric accuracy facilitates differentiation and visualization of minute localized tissue structures.

Supporting Patient Diagnosis
Additional information provided by HistoScanning may facilitate:
  • Visualization of differentiated tissues indiscernible in standard ultrasound scans
  • Assessment of the size and location of differentiated tissues
  • Directed biopsies towards visualized differentiated tissues
  • Quantification of changes in specific differentiated tissues between follow ups
  • Identification or execution of malignancies
    Added value of HistoScanning
The new insights provided by HistoScanning may help physicians:
  • Shorten time to treatment
  • Make more informed treatment decisions
  • Reduce the number of invasive explorations such as biopsies
  • Implement effective active surveillance programs
  • Monitor treatment effectiveness
  • Guide focal treatment
  • Lower threshold to an advanced diagnostic imaging modality
  • Increase confidence in diagnosis and management of cancer
    HistoScanning Reporting Tools
HistoScanning provides several tools to facilitate analysis, reporting and documentation of findings:
  • On screen visualization and quantification
  • Customizable printed report
  • DICOM connection
  • Saving to DVD
